New search accepted for missing plane MH370

Malaysia has said yes to a new search 🔍 for flight MH370, which went missing ten years ago with 239 people. The plane ✈️ went missing while on its way from Malaysia to China in March 2014, and is one of the rarest cases in the history of airplanes.

The government is going to work with Ocean Infinity, a company that searches for things in the sea. They made a deal for 70 million dollars, but the company will only get the money if it finds the plane. This is a “if you don't find, you don't pay” deal.

Ocean Infinity tried to find the plane in 2018 but couldn't. Other searches in other countries cost 150 million but found nothing. This new search will be in a different part of the sea, about 15,000 square kilometers, using new information.

The families of those who went missing are happy about the new search. “It’s like the best Christmas present,” said one relative. Many families have waited almost 11 years to find out what happened to their loved ones.

The plane lost contact shortly after leaving Kuala Lumpur. It was seen to have gone another way. Most believe it fell into the South Sea, but no one knows why. Over time, some parts of the plane have washed up on beaches.

There are many ideas about what happened to MH370. Some think the pilot brought it down, others say other things. A 2018 study says someone changed the course of the plane, but they don’t know who.

The new search will begin next year. Everyone hopes that this time they will find answers to give peace ☮️ to the families who lost their loved ones in MH370.
